Words!!! To hell with you....Talaaq...full of life changing emotions

"Talaaq to day rahay ho Nazar-e-qehar ke saath
Jawani bhi meri lauta do Mehar ke saath"  [Mahjabeen Bano (MeenaKumari)]

(You are divorcing me with rage in your eyes
Return to me, also, my youth along with the alimony!)

As soon as I read these verses, I uttered "Kya baat hai, kya dard hai (Wow wonderful words, how much pain they resemble in them)". Suddenly a thought came to me that, how important is each of the utterance which comes out from us, humans is....The one who says these words Talaq"..practically goes through it. It feels like you have just invoked an Alarm bell in the darbaar of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Today I read a News which was telling that divorces have increased among Software Industry people, then again google took me to Meena kumari's wiki biography whose touchy life story ending with the above verses really made me emotional and think about the wisdom around the "Talaq".

According to Ibn Maajah, The Messenger of Allaah said, “One of you may utter a word of what pleases Allaah without him knowing how excellent the word is and for which he will continue to attain Allaah’s pleasure until the day he will meet Him. And someone among you may utter a word that displeases Allaah without him knowing how grievous the word is and on account of which he will continue to earn Allaah’s wrath until the day he will meet Him.”

With this instance I felt how close are we with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, that not only specific words, each word that we utter, speak, How Allah is listening to everything. Following verses of Surah Kahf say more about this:
16. And indeed We have created man, and We know what his own self whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge).
17. (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions)
18. Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).
19. And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!"
20. And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).
21. And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness.
22. (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!"
23. And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!"

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'la give us ability (salahiyat) to speak or utter only that which takes  us to Jannah(Heaven), and save our tongue from uttering anything which takes us to Jahannum(hell).

An emotional way of thinking, in actual its our own earning:

Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam
Tum Rahe Na Tum, Hum Rahe Na Hum

What beautiful words!!! The word 'sitam' means torture or punishment, and the English word 'oppression' gets closest to its meaning. But the adjective used to describe it is 'Haseen'. Haseen means handsome/beautiful. The reason why such punishment is praised because the singer has accepted the fate, which is the changing times in which we all live. Now both of us are different from what we used to be. You are not the same person and I have also changed!!

Ek Raah Par Chal Ke Do Qadam
After walking only a few steps on the same path.

Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam
Tum Rahe Na Tum, Hum Rahe Na Hum

Jaayenge Kahan, Soojhta Nahin
Chal Pade Magar Raasta Nahin
Kya Talaash Hai, Kuchh Pata Nahin
Bun Rahe Hain Din, Khwaab Dum-Ba-Dum

The destination is not clear and it's now become difficult to decide, as we don't know where to go? But still we have started walking albeit there is no path
What are we searching for? We don't know, and now we are slowly making (knitting - the correct translation of the word 'Bun') our days with dreams in every breath we breathe. I interpret this line as if the singer is day-dreaming about the destination.

Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam
Tum Rahe Na Tum, Hum Rahe Na Hum

Most of the times we tend to think like this after some time but...

Aye Kaash ke ye hum samzen..Alaas!! If we could understand

Insaan bahut naadaan hai. Agar yeh apni marzi par chalega to halaakat ke siva kuch bhi na payega. Na hi woh apne balboote par apni duniya bana sakta hai na hi aakhirat. Isme buniyadi kamzoriyan hai. Insan jaldbaaz hai. Apni jaldbaazi ki wajah se galat faisle karta hai. yeh jaahil hai "Innahu kaana zalooman jahoola".

Agar yeh Allah ki taraf jhuk jata hai to uski duniya aur aakhirat dono ban jati hai. Jis Allah ne insan ko duniya mein bheja hai usne zindgi guzarne ka ek tarika bhi diya hai. Usi ne maut ke baad ek ANJAAM rakhkha hai.

Baarak-Allaahu Feekum - Wa SallAllaahu Wa-sallam 'alaa Nabiyyinaa Muhammad, Was-Salaam 'alaykum wa-Rahmatullaahi wa-Barakaatuhu.
